Wizkid and Banky W Create Theme Song for MTV Network Drama Shuga
Commissioned by MTV, Nigerian artists Banky W and Wizkid join other top Artists such as South African rapper L-Tido and Bonie from P-Unit (Kenya) in creating a song for the MTV Network drama series Shuga.

Set in Kenya, Shuga explores rape, transactional sex, male homosexuality and other important topics and is associated with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, The Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation, and the Government of Kenya as part of a ground-breaking multimedia campaign to spread the message about responsible sexual behaviour and tolerance.
Titled Shuga: Love, Sex and Money the genre defying Afro-Hip Hop-R&B-Soul-Pop hybrid will also serve the purpose to the spread the message about responsible sexual behaviour and tolerance,
Nigerian music video director, Clarence peters is presently in Kenya recording the music video for the track. Besides Wizkid, Banky W and those included in the song Shuga, other artists are expected to feature, including P-Square, Flavour and J Martins.
Banky W and Wizkid will in addition make cameo appearances in the TV drama Shuga.
Unfortunately we are unaware of whether this will be shown in the UK. What we do know is that the series is being offered rights-free to other broadcasters around the world in order to spread the message about responsible sexual behaviour and tolerance.
