Idris Elba to Play Mandela in New Film
The Luther star Idris Elba has recently revealed he is set to portray the iconic former South African president Nelson Mandela in the biopic Long Walk to Freedom.
“My big project this year, I’m gonna go play Nelson Mandela in Long Walk To Freedom, which is his official book,” he told website Hip Hollywood. Elba, who is currently promoting his latest film Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance also added, ”That’s where my head is geared to this summer.”
